Central Coast native, Emma Anselm is back to her roots and is currently living in Arroyo Grande, California. After graduating from San Francisco State University in Spring of 2022, she is once again creating pottery in her cozy backyard studio. In March of 2020, the pandemic put her plans of studying abroad on hold and that is when Clay Babe Ceramics was born.  During that time she created and sold pots at makers markets, local shops and even at pop up shop, SLOcally Made. When it was finally safe to travel, she finished up her last two semesters at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. With her Bachelors Degree in Arts completed she is now a full time potter and aspiring teacher.
